Team approach- not the way to go!
I can tell you, when you hire me you get me, for the whole process not just the initial interview. I have taken the team approach before and I found it was only as good as the weakest link, and made it very difficult to provide consistent results. I have found the only reason a licensed realtor would work under another realtor is when they have already tried and failed on their own-not the type of scenerio that I would be comfortable engaging.
Big Advertisers- it's a numbers game!
Big advertisers means they are playing the numbers game- big advertising budget = a need for huge customer load. You will get lost in the shuffle, even worse land up as a pawn in someones team hierachy.
Also, are you tired of paying for someones ego, their pictures slapped all over our neigbourhood billboards, bus benches, newspapers etc. These ads are designed to gain more customers, not sell your house. Fact is by the time a listing hits print on hard media, that property should have been sold already. Most listings in print are already sold, sometimes month ago. Agents are always looking to fill a page, and will even use other realtor's ads to do so.Unfortunately your commision dollars are funding all these efforts.

What I don't do:
I won't tell you an inflated price just to get your listing and then later force a price drop to get a sale. A lot a agents make a living doing this, and it's obviously not in the best interest of any Seller!
I won't take your listing and then hand it off to a subordinate and then keep my fingers crossed that it goes well.
I won't take your listing and then disapear. A lot of agents feel their work is done once the listing is signed (they have you locked in). You know the type that won't return your calls.
